Biography
Showing works in five public venues in August, 2009, followed by establishing this website one month later mark the launching of a new career for me, that of an artist.
As a “closet, would-be” artist and without art education, I dabbled at art in different forms over the years and actually sold some. In 1998, I began taking art classes and workshops and have continued to do so since then. My focus has been on design, composition and color theory by means of watercolor, collage, acrylic and experimental mixed water media techniques.
I have studied primarily with a nationally-renowned artist/teacher/juror, Jane E. Jones. I have also studied with other teachers from around the U. S., and I have traveled to other states and to Italy for study.
With a degree in Business Administration, I bring 30 years’ experience from successful careers in the corporate world, including my own advertising and PR agency. And, most recently from a career using leading-edge transformational techniques, I bring knowledge about the energetics of sacred geometry, which I find extremely inspiring. Marrying this arena with my ever-evolving art techniques to create divinely-inspired art for individual and collective transformation is my current passion.
